Inspired by the very creative Yvestown, I attempted to crochet some hearts a few weeks ago, but after much frustration I couldn't figure out the pattern. I took a break from the crocheted hearts and returned to my granny circles. Then another one of my favorite crafty people, wise craft posted about her heart-making adventures and she made it sound so easy. I sat down the other night and tried and tried and finally figured it out with the help of some You Tube videos. I tried to crank out a bunch of hearts before Valentine's Day, so that I could do a post on them, but that was a bit difficult with the children's escapades, the basement project, the scratch off heart project, the studio project and the general chaos in my house. Luckily, the boy and I helped set up the girl's Valentine's Day party at school yesterday morning. And luckily, he ate three plates of fruit and a sugary cupcake, fell asleep on the ride home, and slept for almost three hours [this never happens]! I took advantage of this big chunk of time to myself and crocheted my hearts. Yay!
I noticed on my walk yesterday, that these chairs go well with my color scheme:
P.S. The girl's daddy gave her pink tulips for Valentine's Day.
