We've been enjoying some beautiful days these last couple weeks. Today is gorgeous and really starting to look like fall. The leaves were glowing this morning as I drove the kids to school. My son even shouted out from the back seat as we drove down a winding road with enormous orange and red trees, "It looks like autumn!"
We've been trying to take the kids on picnics here and there and spending as much time outdoors as possible. We've been logging many hours at the playgrounds. I like to take my daughter to the arboretum just to exercise her... she loves to run or ride her bike round and round this circle. She's so funny and so full of life.
I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with this space... I haven't had much creative energy lately. I'm still reading that series of books about time traveling... I think I'm on the fifth one. They're so hard to put down. I'm so obsessive when it comes to reading, I seem to have no self-control.
But we're all doing well, busy with school and work. I'm feeling the urge to make another quilt but feeling like I should finish some of my crocheted blankets first. Blair has been making amazing progress on this afghan and I'm feeling a bit down that I haven't kept up. I must finish it! I'll try to share a bit more in this space this week. Thanks for hanging in there with me.
