What a treasure! I hope your glueing skills satisfy the job. :)


My neighbor is an archaeologist and when I asked him about a broken piece of blue willow he suggested that I mend it with just a little white glue. It's water soluble and not permanent if you make a mistake. He also suggested using a box filled with a little sand or kitty litter to stabilize the piece but I was fixing a plate so I never tried that trick. I just inverted it and let it dry that way. Good luck!



Thanks for the expert advice... I'm still working up the nerve to put it back together. But white glue makes sense.
