Not quite sure what happened with my time last month... I might be able to figure it out if I'd kept up with my writing and posting here. I did manage a few tiny crafty projects here and there, but I had so many more planned in my head and on pinterest. Above, is a photo of a small tree I made with a twig from my kindling basket and some silver pipe cleaners. I'm so happy with how it turned out. Hoping to make an entire forest of them for next year.
I promised that I'd share a glimpse of the winning photo from my holiday card shoot, and here it is. I also carved a little star stamp from a pink erasure and used silver ink.
I decided to do a variation last year's kids cards. I attempted to carve a stamp of a Charlie Brown-ish tree and then let the kids add tiny fingerprint birds. They love drawing in the little details, especially my daughter. My son did a series of monsters, spiders, Christmas butterflies and windows. Don't ask.
Those "fingerprint birds" are the sweetest thing ever. Thanks for sharing!
