I'm making a quilt for this little gal out of fabrics that I've been collecting and hoarding for the last few years. Each time I complete an eight-inch square I take a photo and post it to instagram to log my progress. I can't remember the name of this pattern, but I borrowed the idea from a Martha Stewart article a million years ago.
I have this unfinished quilt from twelve or thirteen years ago... My friend Sue was an art teacher at a small private school at the time, and an interior designer parent donated a generous stack of beautiful fabric samples. Sue shared the blues and greens with me and she used the warmer tones to make a beautiful wall-hanging quilt. Last time I visited her, it was still hanging above her bed. I'll try to take some photos of my quilt soon... maybe I'll finish it.
