As you can see, I've been having fun combining simple chalk drawings with my kids and photography... maybe this post should be titled, "The Funny Things Her Mother Does." I was surprised and amused to find my daughter creating a chalk drawing project of her own:
And then she elaborated on the butterfly wing theme by giving her doll a mushroom to stand on:
And then she just embraced her creativity and added two more dolls to the scene. I love her. And I'm seeing a whole world of opportunities with chalk activities this fall. Hmm... maybe a storybook?

this is a super sweet idea ........ so cute! Think I may have to try this with my own daughter ... she loves drawing and fairies/princesses so i know she would just go insane over this activity
