Oh my golly - I love those stones so much. What an excellent idea. My 8-year-old is so wonderful with his spelling (a teeny bit over-confident, I might say, but that's a good thing), and I love the spelling of my 5-year-old. But having to spell words while making dinner or doing the dishes, or school lunches gets a bit confusing sometimes and I end up saying the wrong words. These stones would be so good. Now - I'll probably take the whole Summer + some to even get started on making something like that....
Also -those stones from you dad. Crochet. Crochet. Crochet.



Thank you, Ellie! I'm so glad that you like them... can't wait to see yours if you make some. I'm still a teeny bit sad that the crochet stone from you never arrived. One of these days, I'll try to make some for myself... that's one reason why I'm saving my Lake Superior stones.
